Host
it when?
Horrible service,
just awful. Their support is uninterested in your problems, they'll
send you cut & pasted faq's vaguely related to your inquiry,
and you'll be glad to get that.
Their
servers are down much more than they let on, which they only tell
you after you've signed up for their 'service'
Here's what I see quite
a bit of when I need to work on my site:
Resolving host name www.planetfallstudios.com...
Connecting to (www.planetfallstudios.com).
A connection attempt failed because the connected party did
not properly respond after a period of time, or established
connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
Cannot login waiting to retry (30s)...
Continue to login attempt 2...
Connecting to (www.planetfallstudios.com).
A connection attempt failed because the connected party did

connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

This can go on for hours, literally. When you
do get a connection, look for this random "feature" to
occur:
Connection closed. Server timeout.
Command aborted. Server timeout.
An established connection was aborted by the software in your
host machine.

Good luck trying to get some work done!
Incidently, while all of this server wackiness
was happening, their home page somehow manages to report:
SYSTEM STATUS
All servers are functioning properly |
Well, no wonder they proudly tout "Reliable
Web Hosting"! And why not, their system status display wouldn't
lie, would it?
Even their largely ignored,
comically named "Support Forums" is too much for them
to maintain:

Don't contact the admin, he doesn't want to hear
from you, so go away.
This is just the tip of the iceburg, check back
often as I post my many other issues with this "host".
