The website Nonviolence.org, which is, as you might guess, vehemently against the Iraqi conflict that is currently taking place (Today's date: 3/24/03) which is fine, everyone or organization has a right to whatever position they like. Nonviolence.org has a "discussion board" or "forum" where browsers are invited to participate in the controversy concerning Iraq, I have some feelings and thoughts about it, so I decided to engage in the discussion. After posting a message, I realized that anonymous rantings are kind of cowardly, so I registered to be able to own up to everything I posted, including my name, email and this website.

Providing thoughtful and eloquent, and sometimes humorous arguments and rebuttals about why I feel the way I do about the situation, and being able to interact with other points of view was something I appreciated, and said so. Also, I'm not one to pull too many punches or suffer fools for long.

However, someone with their finger on the delete button must have not wanted convincing arguments against the main position of the website because I have had my access to the forum terminated without notice or reason. I have even been banned from reading the forum! Good thing I know a way around this. I have noticed that the pro war postings consisting of statements like "let's kill 'em all" or "saddam is an a**hole" are still posted, for all to see. I can only guess that it's because this is how the type of people in charge of that site want individuals with a conservative viewpoint to appear. Supports their bias, you see.

I may have also inadvertently exposed the anti-war "non-violence" movements' marxist and communist connection. (If it's no longer available, I have a cached version here)

This is something they have gone to greater lengths to hide than simply banning someone from a free thinkers forum. I would be aware of this organization, and keep an eye on what their true agenda is. For a group who most would associate with free speech, truth, freedom and liberation their wish for élitist control over vocal opponents seems ironic. And suspicious. Remember, every revolutionary is a closet aristocrat.

Read some postings I responded to on the forum, I was able to retrieve these from my cache:

Atrocity | City White Folk | Ignorance | Iran | Puppet | Responsibility | Revelations | Russia | Soldiers | Stop | WMD | What We Want

I respect intelligent people who I don't agree with, and would never think about silencing their voice.

God bless.
